Position responsibilities:
  • Assisting the Purchaser in screening the market through available databases and the Internet
  • Drawing up standard specifications for price requests
  • Contacting suppliers
  • Perform routine purchases (usually by telephone and/or electronically) based on detailed instructions to ensure the implementation of the purchasing policy of the organization
  • Preparing and sending purchase orders
  • Performing some controls and approvals linked to the accounting documents (invoices, …)
  • Ensuring that the documentation regarding suppliers/products (quality documents, …) is continuously updated
  • Updating and maintaining professional knowledge and technical skills in the area of purchasing.

  • Accuracy and attention to details
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast pace environment
  • Ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently

  • Bachelor or University degree, preferably with knowledge in purchasing and/or administrative sphere
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and/or French (both would be a strong asset)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP – not mandatory) + We provide training
